I just noticed that the Kindle Oasis is available to purchase from Amazon again, and multiple versions are in stock, not just the base model.
The 8GB Kindle Oasis with and without lockscreen ads is available to order right now, and they also have the 32GB version in the Champagne Gold color both with and without lockscreen ads.
The 32GB cellular version in the Graphite color is available as well if you’re willing to shell out $349 for it.
All versions are selling for full retail, and all are in new condition and they’re being shipped and sold by Amazon.com, not some iffy third-party reseller.
If you live outside of the US, the International Kindle Oasis is still available as well, and it’s deeply discounted (the cellular version is only $175 new, and the WiFi version is $135). They will only ship the international version to certain countries, however.
Amazon removed the Kindle Oasis from the Kindle lineup earlier this year and stopped selling it for the past few months, but now it’s back again, at least for a limited time. They must’ve found a box of them in a warehouse somewhere. This isn’t the first time that Amazon has brought back a discontinued Kindle for a limited time. Sometimes you’ll see them selling even older models in new condition. Just last week I saw they were selling the 1st generation Kindle Oasis with a leather charging cover, and that was released in 2016, but they only had 1 left in stock.
The shipping dates for the Kindle Oasis are still like a week out at best, but at least they’re available again for those that want to get one before they’re gone for good. The 20% off trade-in offer is still active as well so you can get a discount if you have an older Kindle to trade in.
